Sound attenuation in wells annulus

Abstract

Major kind of sound attenuation in wells annulus resulted from boundary of friction the environment at the wells of the waveguide of the "pipe in pipe" type is considered. An analytic expression for its calculation and the experimental data required for the development of electronic equipment in the domain of liquid level measurement in wells by remote acoustical way are obtained.
