Mathematical models of optimization for substantiating and finding the weights of objects in method of pair comparisons

Abstract

The problem of determination of the weights of objects (alternatives, criteria) from the matrixes of pair comparisons used in the Analytic Hierarchy Process by T. Saaty is analyzed. Here are also proposed and substantiated the criteria of efficiency and appropriate constructive mathematical models of finding weights for concordant and discordant matrixes of pair comparisons.
