Inductive inference as a means of automated ontology design

Abstract

To increase the relevance of information retrieval, the use of domain knowledge represented as ontology in the interoperable form suitable for automated processing (for example, by information retrieval agents) is proposed. An algorithm of automatized ontology enlargement with new terms by means of inductive generalization of the properties selected by the user of full-text documents is designed.
