Optimal control of an elliptic system with conjugation conditions that contain a heat conduction equation

Abstract

The paper considers new problems of optimal control of distributed systems. They are described by boundary-value problems for an elliptic equation with such conjugation conditions that contain a heat conduction equation. An optimization system contains a quadratic cost functional. The paper proves the theorems about existence of unique optimal controls for each case.
