Analysis and optimization of surviveability of ATM computer networks

Abstract

The problem of surviveability analysis of ATM networks for service categories VBR and ABR is considered. Surviveability indices for these categories are introduced and the algorithm of their estimation is suggested. Experimental investigations of the suggested algorithm for the concrete ATM network are presented.
