Formation and development of system analysis as an applied scientific discipline

Abstract

The reasons and the factors which have defined the formation and the tendencies of system analysis development as an applied scientific discipline are analysed. There 4 stages of development are introduced: formation of theoretical basis of system thinking; empirical formation of system methodology; synchronous development both of system analysis theory and system research practice; system problems globalization. On each stage the characteristics of real system problems in various spheres of practical activities are revealed from a position of estimation a pragmatical role of system analysis. The basic scientific and technical achievements on each of these stages are given. The place of the applied system analysis in modern classification of sciences is determined.
